Summer Memories

I would like to share my canvas I created for Pion Design's challenge Summer Memories. My design was inspired by my summer memories in New Hampshire. I had lots of perennial country gardens with beautiful flowers.  The gardens attracted many beautiful butterflies, dragon flies and bees. The bicycle represents my husband's summer memories of riding out in the country side.

Happy Birthday Kerry

Happy Birthday Kerry,

I hope you day was as special as you are.

I have decided to start a second blog for my mix media and projects. Today I will start with my pocket letter for Kerry who loves pink.

I chose the Prima Butterfly collection paper. I used my new Stempelglede stamps "Postcard from Paris". These have become my favorite stamps. Gorgeous you can purchase them at Live & Love Crafts. They are stunning when colored with distress inks. I added a few stencil images on the cards using light texture paste. The butterflies are from a Pion Collection of paper. To finish it I used to complete my design - rose trim, ribbon, tulle, resin embellishment, bling, charms, decorative pins, buttons, chipboard, and lace. I hope I have inspired you to create. I have added close ups for each card below so they you can see the detail.
